Police are appealing for help to locate a "key witness" to a dog attack in North Yorkshire, which happened earlier this month.
North Yorkshire Police said a man was injured after being bitten by a short-haired Alsatian-type dog at the Yorkshire Dales National Park Visitors' Centre in Malham on 3 April.
The force said the man was treated in hospital for a bite wound to his leg.
Officers investigating the incident said they wanted to contact a witness who had passed on the registration number of a silver/grey panel van belonging to the dog's owners to the injured man.
A police spokesperson said they wished to speak with the witness and "anyone else who was there at the time" and saw what happened.
